How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account, and provide the core payment-link and wallet features.
  • To process withdrawal requests to the payout details you provide.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • To send transactional notifications (payment received, withdrawal status, promo credits) and, where you've opted in, product updates.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations applicable to payment intermediaries in India.

ZapPay monitors 100% of account activity, transactions, and platform usage on an ongoing basis to protect the platform and its users from gambling, fraud, and scamming. Continued use of ZapPay means you consent to this monitoring, as described further in our Terms & Conditions.

4

Third-Party Services

ZapPay relies on trusted third-party providers to operate:

  • Payment gateway partner — processes the actual UPI transaction; receives transaction amount and order reference, not your full account profile.
  • Firebase (Google) — our authentication and database infrastructure, used to securely store account and transaction data.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers. Data is shared with third parties only as necessary to operate the service described above, or where required by law.

5

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Firebase/Google Cloud) with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Access to sensitive data such as payout details is restricted to systems and personnel who need it to process your requests. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Where our monitoring identifies suspected fraud, gambling, scamming, or other misuse, we may share relevant account and transaction data with our payment gateway partner, banking partners, financial regulators, and law enforcement agencies as necessary to investigate and respond to that activity.

6

Cookies & Tracking

ZapPay uses essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as your selected checkout theme). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

7

Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information via your Profile page.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to settlement of any pending balances and our legal retention obligations (see Section 8).

To exercise these rights, contact us via the channels listed in Section 11.

8

Data Retention

We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with financial record-keeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Some transaction records may be retained longer where required by Indian payment/financial regulations.

9

Children's Privacy

ZapPay is not directed at individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Your continued use of ZapPay after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
